I have always disregarded the power of the tongue, swearing and making a fool of people till i encountered an event that changed me totally. While i was a student at the university in Nigeria, i remember laughing at a girl that missed an examination and telling myself and friends that even in my weekest state, i could never miss an examination. Well,it happened to me sometime later. I had a four credit load paper for 8am- 10am, and i woke up 20minutes to 10. I can remember running to the hall with a rough shirt, dirty mouth, body and two different colour of slippers. As i stepped into the hall,the invigilators and fellow students writting the exam could not stop laughing. This particular event changed my life and thought, reason being that i was so embarrassed, i had to carry over the course to the following year and it affected my result seriously. That was an automatic extra year. That event changed my point of view totally and since that day,i tought so different in that you never laugh at people when it is seeming bad for them because your challenging days is just by the corner.
